Season 13 of The Block saw the contestants renovating five rundown weatherboard houses in Regent Street, Elsternwick, in Melbourne. Cemintel products were used extensively in the renovations. Scarborough® Weatherboard was used to improve the existing cottages, while Surround blackish base panels make a spectacular appearance on the new 'pavilion' extensions. Ceminseal® Wallboard was used in all the bathrooms to ensure they were perfectly waterproofed. As host Scott Cam pointed out during the series, "Waterproofing is our number one priority on The Block."
